This is a very nice and aesthetically pleasing bed; my dog ​​really loves it. German Shepherd approved: the size is long enough to comfortably accommodate a long-breed dog. The functionality seems good, and if they continue to enjoy sleeping in it, I may have to kick them off the couch less often. The base, which is egg-crate foam with a thin layer of padding on top, could use a little more padding. Nothing that can't be improved, but for the price and to ensure their quality sleep, I'd rather have more padding than less. That said, the material is really nice and much better than other beds I've owned; this one should last a long time and blends in nicely with the decor.
